Hi Team,
Well, the 2007 GA state series is over for another year. Our team placed 1st in the championship race with 92 points (our best score this season!) and 3 rd overall for the series.

Shayne and I would like to thank you all for doing your best and representing our sponsor, BAWLS Guarana with pride. Also, thanks to the parents who helped with the team, setting up and packing up the shelter, and getting the other behind the scenes stuff done.

Racing the state championship means you have qualified to represent GA at the President's cup in Columbus, Ohio just after Christmas.

So riders, Good Luck with the remainder of the 2007 race season, and hope to see you in Ohio.

You have probably heard me say, "When the gate drops, I want to see you trying your best, don't giving up until you have crossed the finish line." I truly believe this makes you a better racer, if you 'practice' this attitude, you won't have to even think about it!

Our team was well represented at the 2007 NBL Grands, almost 50% of our riders made thru the qualifying rounds to their Mains - great job!

Our primary (only) sponsor BAWLS came thru with the "VIP lounge" and it was great to have somewhere different to go hang out and get energized on a couple of BAWLS drinks. Thanks Sabrina and Marie for being great hostesses and taking care of our team. I got to chat with Rachel Smith, and her Mom. Rachel is doing great at College (she is also one of the recipients of the Bob Warnicke scholarship ) and still finds time to race BMX!

The GA state championship is coming up soon on the 22nd September. I hope everyone will be prepared and ready to do their best for the team. We are currently tied for third place, and we have the potential to end the series in second place. We will have the BAWLS tent set up with a cooler-ful of BAWLS drinks for team riders and their families. So we hope to see you there!

Riders, Moms and Dads, please be on the lookout for potential sponsors, currently our team has BAWLS (product) and the Robinson family (dollars.) Everyone has been paying for their jerseys, and unless we get sponsorship dollars, ($) I will be asking our team members to do the same in 2008. So far we have had a good year and are breaking even...

I have just taken delivery of the 10 cases of BAWLS energy drinks for this 2007 state season. I plan to bring 2 cases to each SQ race for consumption by teams members and their families. The last 2 cases will go to the Grands...
